Hello, my name is Angel Hernandez III and I'm a business management major at FGCU. I am of Puerto Rican descent, but was born in Hartford, Connecticut. I've spent most of my life in Florida. Joining Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Incorporated has enhanced my college experience allowing me to meet many people, build lifelong bonds with brothers and better myself as a man in the process. Growing up in Fort Myers and being a brother of the Sigma Delta chapter at FGCU has given me the opportunity to give back and make a difference in the community that raised me. My fraternity has helped me grow and pushed me in the right direction for the long run. I plan to continue to be a force on this campus and let everyone know who runs things. My name is James "Taíno" Galarza and I am a dual majoring Forensics/Criminal Justice. I have been a member of SLB since Spring 2010. My aspirations are simple: a well-paying job that I enjoy, a family and anything else I'll take as it comes. Just like all the other brothers at this chapter, Sigma Lambda Beta is important to us and has changed us in many ways. It has inspired confidence and the ability to use that confidence in all aspects. SLB is more than just a fraternity, it’s a brotherhood. We have a bond that every member understands and cherishes. Now that we've obtained chapter status I have one goal for Sigma Delta: to continue to grow and intake brothers so that they too can disseminate the rich culture which we all share.

I went to FGCU my freshman through junior year and transferred to James Madison University to get a major that was not offered at FGCU. I am majoring in international affairs with a concentration on the Middle East and learning Arabic. With this degree, I plan to work either for the government, the UN, or an NGO. Most likely I will be in Washington DC or overseas once my career gets started. Joining Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. has made me realize my dreams and what I actually want to accomplish in life. Joining has given me a group of like-minded people who want to be successful just like me. This is very important for anybody because having a group to support you and keep you on the right path is instrumental to success. Becoming a member of Sigma Lambda Beta was honestly and whole heartedly the best decision I made in my college career.

My name is Adam Chin Nguyen aka “ThatAsianBeta” residing in Ft. Myers, FL. I am a Summer 2013 graduate of FGCU. I majored in Marketing & Management with a Minor in Advertising and a Concentration in Sports Management & Entrepreneurship. I am food connoisseur, sneaker enthusiast, and a tattoo fiend. I plan on working at a Marketing Firm while I try and start up my very own Event Coordinating Business. Sigma Lambda Beta has influenced me to find something better in life, rather than simplicity. It has helped push me to find success and happiness. People ask, why would I want to buy my friends by joining a fraternity? I am here to tell you that you will EARN every friendship upon joining this Fraternity.
